Meaning
I bow to the Arihants, the Siddhas, the Acharyas, the Upadhyayas, and all the sadhus in the world. The mantra honours the qualities of the five revered beings rather than asking for anything.
About the Namokar Mantra
The Namokar (Navkar) Mantra is the most important mantra in Jainism and is recited by all Jain traditions. It is chanted at the start of the day, before meals, and before any significant undertaking.
